The city of Epidamn Dyrak was built by the Illyrians Taulant, the swallows in the XIII-XI centuries BC.According to ancient authors, this city was founded by two kings of Illyrian origin named Dyrah and Epidamn. King Epidamn, built the fortified part of the city southeast of Mount Durres, while his nephew Dyrrak, built the Port that for many, many centuries bear his name. From these two names survived to this day, the name Dyrrah-Durrësi, for its role as a harbor-Port.

THE HISTORICAL CITY OF KRUJA

Kruja is a town and a municipality in north central Albania. Located between Mount Krujë and the Ishëm River, the city is only 20 km north from the capital of Albania, Tirana.In 1190 Krujë became the capital of the first Albanian state in the Middle Ages, the Principality of Arbër.In 1914. The museums of Krujë include the Skanderbeg Museum, located in the environs of the Krujë Castle, and the national ethnographic museum. The name of the city is related to the Albanian word kroi, krua, meaning “fountain”. During the Illyrian Wars the area of Krujë was captured by the Roman Republic.

LEZHE-IN THE NORTHWEST ALBANIA

Lezha is a city in north west of  Albania. SARANDA, A WONDERFUL CITY IN ALBANIA

The city is located on an open sea gulf of the Ionian Sea within the Mediterranean Sea. Stretching along the Albanian Ionian Sea Coast, Saranda typically has over 300 sunny days a year and is about 14 km (8.7 mi) east of the island of Corfu. The city is known for its blue deep waters. Near Sarandë are the remains of the ancient city of Butrint, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In recent years, Saranda has seen increase in tourists. Visitors are attracted by the natural environment of Saranda and its archaeological sites.
